Donner Lake is included with every booking. For a flat $150 travel fee we'll trailer the full StokeFoil rig to Lake Tahoe, Prosser, Boca, or Stampede — or roll right up to your private lake-house dock on any of them. Pick your launch when you book.

Do I need any experience to take an eFoil lesson?
No. 99.8% of StokeFoil Academy's first-time riders stand up and fly on lesson one. Our coaches start you on a low-speed learning mode and walk you through every step from the dock.
Where are lessons and rentals held on Lake Tahoe?
We launch from calm-water spots on the North Lake Tahoe / Truckee side — Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Your exact meet-up is confirmed at booking based on wind and water conditions that morning.
How much does an eFoil lesson cost in Tahoe?
Solo lessons start around $300 for a 90-minute private session including the board, foil, battery, helmet, and impact vest. Duo and group rates are on the Book page.
Can I rent an eFoil without a lesson?
Rentals require either a completed SFA lesson or proof of prior eFoil experience. These boards are powerful — we want every rider safe and confident before going solo.
What's the age and weight limit?
Riders 12 and up, roughly 80–260 lbs, can ride a Waydoo EVO. Minors need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
Do you sell Waydoo eFoils?
Yes — StokeFoil Academy is an authorized Waydoo dealer for the full Flyer EVO lineup (Lite, Max Plus, Pro Plus, Master Plus). 100% of your lesson fee can be applied toward a board purchase.
